THIS IS A SNOOK

This was a pretty good Snook, barely in the legal slot limit at 33". I kept this one for the frying pan. Not much in the salt water flats better eating than a Snook and nothing more fun to catch on light tackle. The day I got this one I also caught the Redfish in the other post as well as a 24" sea trout. The trout was the first fish of the morning and I didn't get a picture because trout are common. Should have got a picture of the trout! A Trout, a Redfish, and a Snook, all within the slot limits or bigger in one trip is considered a saltwater flats slam and just doesn't happen all that often. This was three years ago and I have not been able to get a legitimate slam since.
